with the doctors between 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM daily, Monday thru
Saturday.
If you would like to make an appointment or if you have a medical
question, call 215-536-1915. Our caring staff can provide efficient service if you first

treatment on the phone. Either way, we would like the opportunity to
meet your medical needs.
If you require a prescription refill, we ask that you call during
office hours so that we have your child's chart available. Also,

Online sites like MySpace and Facebook are becoming more popular than ever with pre-teens and adolescents. With the media’s constant coverage of online predators and acts of cyber violence, parents worldwide are wondering if their child is at risk. Below are some tips you can give to your patients to better help them communicate with their pre-teens and adolescents. You may also decide it is appropriate to discuss these tips with your pre-teen and teenage patients. Ask them about the types of things they are sharing online. Suggest that they make their online profile “private,” so only people they “approve” can see it. Tell them that if they are being cyber stalked, bullied, or are experiencing other forms of harassment, it is not their fault and that it is wrong. Encourage them to report this type of behavior to their parents, the Web site, a trusted adult or the police.
Tell your patients that they should speak with their children if they suspect he or she is involved in an unhealthy online relationship. Remind them that one of the best ways to learn about their child’s activities is by keeping the lines of communication open. You can also suggest they visit
www.thesafespace.org for more information. Children can also get news and info about healthy relationships by signing up for the loveisrespect blog or adding the teen line as a friend on MySpace or Facebook.
If you have a patient you believe is at risk of cyber violence, please refer him/her to one of the toll-free, confidential hotlines. National Domestic Violence Hotline 1-800-799-7233 (SAFE) 1-800-787-3224 (TTY for the Deaf)
www.ndvh.org. National Teen Dating Abuse Hotline 1-866-331-9474 1-866-331-8453 (TTY for the Deaf)
